Dr Ruth Chang is a Respiratory and critical care medicine consultant from Woodlands Health with a special interest in Sleep Medicine. Dr Chang graduated from the Yong Loo Lin School of Medicine in 2008. Dr Chang received dual specialist accreditation in Respiratory Medicine and Intensive Care Medicine. Dr Chang completed a Masters in Sleep Medicine from the University of Sydney.
Dr Crystal Cheong is a consultant in the Department of Otolaryngology – Head & Neck Surgery, National University Hospital and Ng Teng Fong General Hospital, where she helms the sleep subspecialty clinic within the department. She was awarded the Health Manpower Development Plan Fellowship in 2020. She completed the ACGME fellowship in Sleep Medicine and Sleep Surgery at the University of Pennsylvania, United States of America, in 2022, which has served her well in addressing both the medical and surgical aspects of a wide range of sleep disorders. Her passion lies in providing holistic and patient-centred care for sleep conditions such as obstructive sleep apnoea.
Dr Chong is an Otorhinolaryngology (Ear, Nose & Throat) Senior Consultant at Tan Tock Seng Hospital who specializes in sleep medicine and obstructive sleep apnea surgery. After completing his Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS), Dr Chong was conferred Membership of the Royal College of Surgeons (MRCS) of Edinburgh in 2009 and attained Master of Medicine (Otorhinolaryngology) (National University of Singapore) in 2012. Dr Chong completed his advanced specialist training in Otorhinolaryngology in 2015 and became a Fellow of the Academy of Medicine Singapore (FAMS) after that. He completed his hands-on fellowship training in transoral robotic surgery and sleep disordered breathing surgery with Professor Claudio Vicini in Italy in 2016. Dr Chong subsequently obtained Master of Science in Sleep Medicine from the prestigious University of Oxford in 2019. Dr Chong is very active in medical education and is the current Programme Director for National Healthcare Group Otorhinolaryngology Residency Programme. Dr Chong is also appointed as Adjunct Assistant Professor & Clinical Educator at Yong Loo Lin School of Medicine, National University of Singapore. He is also a Content Expert and Clinical Teacher at Lee Kong Chian School of Medicine, Nanyang Technological University/ Imperial College London.
Dr Han Hong Juan is a Consultant Ear Nose Throat (ENT) surgeon. He is also the medical director of The ENT, Voice & Snoring Clinic. Dr Han practiced for 20 years in the public sector and was awarded the Singapore General Hospital Heart of Gold award in 2016 and the CEO Service award in 2017 for his contribution to clinical care excellence for his patients.
Prior to private practice, he was also the Chief of Sleep Surgery and the Director of the Voice Clinic in the Department of Otolaryngology, Singapore General Hospital. He held the positions of Adjunct Assistant Professor in Duke-NUS Graduate Medical School and Senior Clinical Lecturer of the National University of Singapore, Yong Loo Lin School of Medicine.
Dr Han graduated from the National University of Singapore in 1998 and completed his specialty training in Otorhinolaryngology in Singapore. He earned his Master's Degree of Medicine (Otorhinolaryngology) from the National University of Singapore, Faculty of Medicine. Dr Han graduated top of his cohort and was awarded a Distinction and the Singapore Academy of Medicine’s Gold Medal for Otorhinolaryngology.
He went on to obtain the Ministry of Health‘s Health Manpower Development Award to sub specialise in Sleep Surgery at Stanford University and Laryngology at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Centre (UPMC).
Dr Han’s main clinical interests include the surgical management of Snoring and Obstructive Sleep Apnea as well as Voice and Swallowing Disorders. He is also a trained Robotic and Laser surgeon. Dr Han was part of the pioneering team of surgeons that started Transoral Robotic Surgery (TORS) in Singapore. He also has a keen interest in the treatment of Nasal Allergies and Nasal Obstruction to facilitate nasal breathing.
He works closely with Respiratory Physicians to treat all aspects of Obstructive Sleep Apnea and with Speech Pathologists to treat Voice and Swallowing Disorders.
Dr Han continues to serve as Visiting Consultant to Singapore General Hospital where he continues to train young ENT surgeons of the future.

Mr Lee is a Sleep Technologist with 5 years experience conducting polysomnography and initiating CPAP therapy for patients diagnosed with OSA. Key member and pioneer in the initial setup of the sleep lab in Sengkang General Hospital (SKH) Involved in starting of Oral Myofuctional Therapy (OMFT) service in SKH.
Dr Tan Kian Meng is a Dental Specialist in Prosthodontics with Specialist Dental Group®. He is also an Adjunct Lecturer at the National University of Singapore and a Visiting Consultant at Singapore’s Khoo Teck Puat Hospital. He was the President of the Prosthodontic Society Singapore in 2021 - 2023.
Dr Tan Kian Meng received his dental training from the National University of Singapore and his specialty training in Prosthodontics from the University of Maryland, USA. He also received numerous academic awards, including the Lee Kuan Yew Medal for being the best overall graduating student in the dental class and Tratman Medal, for being the most distinguished graduate.
Before joining Specialist Dental Group®, Dr Tan was with Khoo Teck Puat Hospital as a Consultant and Fellow at the University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center’s Maxillofacial Prosthetics and Oncologic Dentistry. He is a Fellow of the Academy of Medicine, Singapore and the American College of Prosthodontists. He is also a Diplomate of the American Board of Prosthodontics.
