Dr Lee Tee Sin is presently the deputy chief and senior consultant with the Department of Otorhinolaryngology – Head and Neck Surgery at Changi General Hospital (CGH). He is also the director of the Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery Service. Upon completing his Otorhinolaryngology training, he was awarded the Health Manpower Development Plan to pursue a 1-year clinical fellowship in Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery with the University of Toronto, Canada, endorsed by the American Academy of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery. He also achieved the highest international score in the 2014 IBCFPRS examination, and was honored with the Claus D. Walter Award for Academic Excellence. He then completed the board certification process in 2017 and is a Diplomate of the IBCFPRS.
He is active in both undergraduate and postgraduate teaching, holding the appointments of associate programme director of the SingHealth Otolaryngology Residency, clinical assistant professor of the Duke-NUS Graduate Medical School, clinical senior lecturer of the Yong Loo Lin School of Medicine, National University of Singapore, as well as clinical teacher of the Lee Kong Chian School of Medicine. He is also a visiting consultant to Singapore General Hospital, Singapore National Eye Centre, Tan Tock Seng Hospital, Khoo Teck Puat Hospital and Ng Teng Fong General Hospital. He has also contributed significantly to the Society of Otolaryngology – Head and Neck Surgery Singapore (SOHNSS), having previously held the position of President of the society, he currently holds the post of executive member of the society’.

Dr Ian Loh is the Chief of the Department of Otorhinolaryngology - Head & Neck Surgery at Changi General Hospital (CGH). He is an otolaryngologist with facial plastic and reconstructive surgery training and is the director of the Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery Service in the Department of Otorhinolaryngology - Head and Neck Surgery in CGH, he also serves as Chairman, Section of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery in the Academy of Medicine.
Dr Ng Chew Lip is an Otolaryngologist trained in Facial Plastic Surgery. He is fellowship-trained in Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery in London, UK and Toronto, Canada, during which he was awarded the Kris Conrad Award in Facial Plastic Surgery. He has strong interests in rhinoplasty, facial palsy rehabilitation, sinus surgery, and scar management after face and neck surgery.
As Associate Program Director of the National University Health System ENT Residency Program and Senior Clinical Lecturer at the Yong Loo Lin School of Medicine, National University of Singapore, Dr Ng is closely involved in the education of ENT residents and medical students.
Dr Ng actively publishes in peer-reviewed journals, has authored textbook chapters and serves on the editorial boards of medical journals including the Singapore Medical Journal. He has received several grants for his research work.
Outside of clinical work, Dr Ng serves as Honorary Secretary and Council Member of the Singapore Medical Association, member of the Law Society Inquiry Panel, and member of the Art Science Council of the NUS Mind Science Centre.

After completing her specialist training, Dr Ng proceeded to subspecialize in Asian facial plastic and reconstructive surgery as a clinical fellow at the Department of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery, Chang Gung Memorial Hospital in Taiwan. In particular, she underwent specialized training in ear reconstructionduring her time as a fellow, being trained in both rib cartilage and Medpor reconstruction of the ear. Her training also focuses on reconstructive surgery of the nose and functional rhinoplasty.

Dr Kenneth Oo graduated in 1997 from the Faculty of Medicine, National University of Singapore and attained his Membership of the Royal College of Surgeons in Edinburgh in 2002. He completed his Masters of Medicine and is an accredited specialist in Otolaryngology (ENT). Dr Oo holds a Masters in Science in research.
Dr Oo has extensive international training, having trained at different world class centres. He underwent a clinical fellowship in Otolaryngology, Head and Neck surgery with the Department of Otolaryngology, St Vincent’s Hospital Melbourne, Australia, another fellowship in Facial Plastic and Reconstructive surgery with the Department of Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery, University of Virginia, United States of America and finally a visiting fellowship in Rhinoplasty at the Seoul National University Hospital in South Korea. He was the first Singaporean to be trained in Facial Plastic Surgery and Reconstruction under the HMDP(Higher Manpower Development Plan) Program and is a pioneer in this field in Singapore.
Dr Oo was previously Consultant ENT Head & Neck Surgeon at Tan Tock Seng Hospital where he was a key member of the Facial Plastic and Reconstructive team as well as the laryngology team where he was running the Voice Clinic. Dr Oo has been a consultant ENT surgeon in private practice at Mount Elizabeth Hospital since 2012. He manages both adult and paediatric ENT conditions.
Dr Oo is a fellow of the Academy of Medicine Singapore, Fellow of the American Academy of Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery, country representative of the Asian Facial Plastic Surgery Society and board member of Singapore’s facial plastic surgery committee. Dr Tan graduated from National University of Singapore in 2000. He obtained his MRCS and Masters degree before completing his ENT training, registering as an ENT specialist in 2012.
He received a one year full hands-on Facial Plastics HMDP programme in Gangnam, Seoul, South Korea, operating in Shimmian Rhinoplasty Clinic with Professor Jung Dong Hak.
Since returning from Korea, Dr Tan worked in the Facial Plastic Service of Khoo Teck Puat Hospital ENT Department. He is currently in private practice.
Dr Tan’s personal preference of rhinoplasty is in using autologous (own body) material rather than alloplastic material (eg silicone, medpor) as far as possible; in concomitantly treating any nasal problems while beautifying the nose; and, especially, complex post-filler cases/ revision cases/ rib harvest.

Dr Valerie Tay is the current President, Society of Otolaryngology, Head & Neck Surgery, Singapore. She is a consultant with the Ascent ENT Specialist Group and also a visiting consultant at Tan Tock Seng Hospital (TTSH). She was the former chief of the facial plastic surgery service at TTSH, where she started the first multi-disciplinary facial palsy clinic in Singapore.
Dr Valerie Tay completed her postgraduate Otolaryngology training in Singapore. She was awarded the Ministry of Health (MOH) Health Manpower Development Programme (HMDP) Scholarship in 2012, and pursued advanced sub-specialty training in Facial Plastic Surgery in the renowned Navi Plastic Surgery Clinic, a high volume plastic surgery centre in Seoul, South Korea. She is active in locoregional conferences, and has also contributed chapters to various facial plastic surgery textbooks, such as Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery, a textbook for otolaryngology residents in North America.

Dr Jenica Yong is a USA fellowship-trained ENT surgeon. She completed her ENT training in Singapore and went to USA for further sub-specialization training. Her areas of focus are in Facial Plastic Surgery and Pediatric ENT. Dr Jenica previous practice was at KK Women’s and Children’s Hospital and she is a visiting consultant there for complicated pediatric cases.

Dr Sandeep Uppal graduated from University of Delhi, India in 1990. He completed his residency in Otolaryngology and Head and Neck Surgery from University of Delhi, India in 1995. Subsequently he trained and qualified as a Consultant in Otolaryngology and Head and Neck Surgery in the UK. He is a Fellow of both the Royal College of Surgeons of England and Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland.
Dr Uppal served a one-year fellowship in Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery conducted by the European Academy of Facial Plastic Surgery. He then completed the certification process of the International and European Boards of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery. He was awarded the Claus D. Walter Award for Academic Excellence by the International Board of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery in 2012. He was awarded a PhD by the University of Leeds, UK in 2012 for discovering the genetic and molecular basis of the Pachydermoperiostosis, a hereditary syndrome that leads to facial deformity and clubbing. His research led to a first author publication in the journal Nature Genetics.
Dr Uppal’s research and clinical interests have resulted in more than 30 publications in peer reviewed international journals as well as presentations at various international courses, workshops and conferences. He is the Section Editor for Rhinology and Facial Plastic Surgery section of the book ‘Symptom Oriented Otolaryngology Head and Neck Surgery’. He is the Course Director of ‘Eleven Days of Facial Plastic Surgery’, an annual fresh frozen cadaveric dissection course covering advanced rhinoplasty, facial rejuvenation surgery and facial fracture and soft tissue reconstruction.
He is a National Examiner for Otorhinolaryngology and a Member of Examination Development Committee for Otorhinolaryngology Exit Examination, Ministry of Health, Singapore. Dr Edward Zhang is a Consultant Otolaryngologist at SingHealth (Singapore General Hospital and Sengkang General Hospital). He received his medical degree from the National University of Singapore, Faculty of Medicine in 2007. During his undergraduate studies, he was awarded the Otolaryngology Book Prize Award. He went on to receive his specialist training in the Department of Otolaryngology (ENT) at Singapore General Hospital, and further underwent rotations through ENT departments (TTSH, NUH, CGH, KTPH and KKWCH) across Singapore, before completing his specialist training in 2016. In 2017, he was granted a prestigious one-year surgical hands-on fellowship in Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery (FPRS) at the University of Virginia, where he was mentored under Drs Stephen Park (FPRS), and Jared Christophel (FPRS), Maria Kirzhner (Oculoplastics), and Vandana Nanda (Dermatology).
He pursued his research interest by completing the Master of Clinical Investigation (MCI) at Yong Loo Lin School of Medicine in 2014 and was the recipient of this 2-year postgraduate translational and clinical research programme funded by the National Research Foundation through National Medical Research Council of Singapore.
