Former Head of Singapore General Hospital’s ENT Department and Director of its Centre for Hearing and Ear Implants, he had held numerous clinical and academic leadership roles and had published extensively. He was awarded a PhD for his work in hearing loss and was the pioneer in pediatric cochlear implantation in Singapore.
