FACULTY
Dr Ho is a Senior Consultant Otolaryngologist and Assistant Director for Clinical Research at the Clinical Research and Innovation Office at Tan Tock Seng Hospital. He is a Fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons of England and the Academy of Medicine, Singapore, and also holds a Master of Medical Education from University of Warwick.
His clinical and research interests are in the management of chronic ear diseases, hearing and balance disorders. He runs the Combined Hearing Clinic, Multi-Disciplinary Balance Clinic and Joint Occupational Deafness Clinic at Tan Tock Seng Hospital.
Dr Ho is also a Clinician Scientist and is the Principal Investigator and Co-Investigator for a number of institutional, collaborative and national research grants. He has authored more than 30 peer review scientific papers and regularly presents at international conferences and courses. Dr Ho won the Silver Award for Best Basic Science / Translational Research at the 2017 Singapore Health & Biomedical Congress 2017 and was awarded the Tan Tock Seng Hospital Top 10 Teacher Award in 2016.
Dr Ho also endeavours towards a humanistic practice of clinical medicine and volunteers his time to provide pro-bono medical care to needy communities in neighbouring countries. Dr Ho believes in empowering patients with robust knowledge of their health conditions by regularly giving and organizing free public health talks; working with several Voluntary Welfare Organisations.
