Talented and ambitious researcher as well as experienced and skilled surgeon. Presented research at scientific meetings and symposia in Korea, Japan, Taiwan, USA, Canada, Netherlands, Sweden and Czech Republic. Successfully published seventy-one articles in peer-reviewed journals. Fostered collaboration with national and international researchers and spent time as a visiting scientist and research scholar at the lab of Prof. Andrew Wellman in the Brigham and Women’s Hospital and Harvard Medical School. Won best oral presentation awards at the annual meeting of Korean Society of Sleep Medicine three times in a row between 2015 and 2017. Scientist with a clear, logical mind and a practical approach to problem solving, with drive to see projects through to completion. Clinician with a keen interest in developing a pathophysiology-based non-CPAP therapy for obstructive sleep apnea.
