Department of Otorhinolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery Rizal Medical Center Pasig City, Philippines Dr. Rodante Abantao Roldan is an ENT head and neck surgeon with a subspecialty in Rhinology. He took his general otolaryngology residency at the University of the Philippines-Philippine General Hospital Department of Otorhinolaryngology where he was mentored in Rhinology under Professors Josefino Hernandez and Ramon Antonio Lopa. He is one of the recipients of the grant for the Young Sinus Surgeon Forum in 2011 and 2012, under Professors Prepageran Narayanan (Malaysia), Pongsakorn Tantilipikorn (Thailand), Benjamin Campomanes (Philippines), Retno Wardani (Indonesia), and Jason Hwang (Singapore). He is a Philippine Academy of Rhinology fellow, and had his rotations with Prof. Valerie Lund in London, United Kingdom, Prof. Aldo Stamm in Sao Paulo, Brazil, and with Prof. Chae Seo Rhee in Seoul, South Korea.
As the Rhinology Section Head, he is passionate about teaching trainees endoscopic sinus surgery, and the nuances of inflammatory nasal diseases. Outside of the ORL-HNS Department, he is the Chief of the Professional Education, Training, and Research Office, the PRAISE Committee Chair, and Office for Strategy Management Chair of Rizal Medical Center. He is also active in the Philippine Society of Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery as the Chair of the Philippine Academy of Rhinology, a member of the Research Committee of the Philippine Academy of ORL Allergy and Clinical Immunology, an Associate Editor of the Philippine Journal of Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery, and an Associate Board Examiner of the Philippine Board of Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery. Dante is happily married to Corrie, a laryngologist, and blessed with 2 beautiful daughters, Corinne and Carissa. He is a triathlete: reading, eating, sleeping |
