A/Prof Yuen is an award-winning Senior Consultant ENT Surgeon with nearly three decades of clinical experience, renowned locally and internationally for his expertise in hearing and ear surgery. He completed his medical degree at the National University of Singapore in 1997 and pursued advanced specialist training in Singapore. A/Prof Yuen further honed his subspecialty skills through prestigious fellowships in Otology, Neurotology, Hearing Implants, and Skull Base Surgery at Sunnybrook Health Science Centre in Toronto, Canada (2007–2008), and the Ear Science Institute Australia in Perth (2008–2009). As the former Director of the Otology, Balance, and Hearing Implant Service at Changi General Hospital, he established a leading cochlear implant program recognized for its strong research and clinical outcomes.
