A/Prof Song Tar TOH

Otorhinolaryngology, Head and Neck Surgery Singapore General Hospital Singapore Dr. Toh Song Tar is currently the Senior Consultant of the Department of Otorhinolaryngology-Head & Neck Surgery, Singapore General Hospital. He is a Clinical Associate Professor at Yong Loo Lin School of Medicine, National University of Singapore and Duke-NUS Medical School.
He completed his medical school education in 1998 in National University of Singapore and specialist training in 2009. He underwent subspecialty training in Sleep Medicine and Sleep Surgery at Stanford University in 2010 and completed his Masters in Medicine Sleep Medicine) from University of Sydney in 2014. His clinical and research interests are in the surgical management of OSA. He has accrued extensive experience in the surgical treatment of OSA, including soft tissue surgery, robotic surgery for OSA and hypoglossal nerve stimulation. He has authored numerous publications and book chapters in renowned international peer-reviewed journals and books. He was the volume editor of March 2019 issue of Sleep Medicine Clinics on Screening, Prevention and treatment of OSA. He had obtained multiple educational awards for outstanding teaching and mentorships for medical students and residents, and is frequently invited to international conferences to lecture. |
